Standard Backup
Registering via Standard Backup is the easiest of sign-up options. Use Google Drive backup for your encrypted recovery key, secured with on-device encryption and NIST-Grade biometrics.
Open your Numio Application and on the Welcome screen, tap the Get Started button.
To create an account, you will be asked to enter your Account Name and Numio ID* of your choice. The Numio ID acts as your username on the platform.
Next, you will need to either choose a predefined profile picture or upload an image from your phone.
Tap the Continue button.
By selecting the Standard Backup option, your recovery key will be backed up automatically to your Cloud Drive* and will require a biometric face scan to recover it securely. Once selected, tap on the Continue button.
With a recent update, you can now use either your Google Drive, or elect to use iCloud Drive.
*Numio cannot access any other files on your drive
Next, you will need to enter your Email address associated with either your Google or iCloud account. Once done, tap on the Continue button.
At this point you are asked to confirm that you want to give Numio access to your Google Drive account - this is so you can store your encrypted recovery key (we have no access to any other files on your Drive).

This step ensures that your account is safely secured and can be recovered using your biometric face scan. Make sure to follow the on-screen prompts to successfully create your 3D Face Scan.
Congratulations! You have successfully created your Numio Account.
